Hi there! My name is Samuel David Gutierrez. Above, I am pictured with my dad and sister. I work as a Mortgage Refund Processor for SWBC in Texas. I started this blog to write about Texas and American politics to grow an interest in local, state, and national politics for the everyday person. I have a BA in Mass Communications from Sam Houston State University. I am currently preparing to become a master's student and then a law student. I am left-handed, hence the moniker of "The Southpaw Statesman." All views expressed are my own.
